The Nation’s Oldest Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Research Institution
The American bishops originally created Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà University as a graduate research institution in 1887. We're the oldest Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà research university in the country and, as we like to say, research is in our DNA.
