Prerequisites

Coursework
- Total Credits: 12 credit hours of coursework in moral theology at the 700 or 800 level.
- Doctoral Seminar: TRS 799 Proseminar for New Doctoral Students.
- Grade Point Average: Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
Language Requirements
- Ancient Languages: Reading proficiency in Latin and Greek.
- Modern Languages: Reading proficiency in French or German.
Candidacy
- Requirements: Students may apply for candidacy after satisfying all language requirements and completing at least six credit hours of coursework.
